Use your claw and reel to mine gold and other treasures out of the earth. Your claw will swing back and forth. Press the down arrow to lower it. Once it has grabbed something it will reel it up. Heavy objects like rocks and large pieces of gold will be harder to reel up. Grab bags contain random amounts of money, a strength power-up, or stick of dynamite. Between levels you can buy items that can help you.<br> Collect the target amont of money by the end of the level. If you don't meet your goal by the end of the level it's game over. Your money carries over from one level to the next.<br> If you accidentally blow up everything on a level or you just feel like going on, you can press the "end level" button. If you haven't met your level goal it will be game over.

OCTO is a very naughty Octopus. He often takes on the other sea animals. Your job is to save OCTO of victims and to teach him a lesson. To do this, you are provided with some balls. With the mouse, you can lead to hit these balls through the water OCTO, but sure to lose not too many of them on the way. Later levels introduce jellyfish the balls contact mines off the balls can be retrieved and destroy black and white balls which destroy each other on contact. Lead all 15 stages OCTO of the bad deeds to end!

For each enemy taken down you receive a powerup, or gold.<br /> You'll also notice checkpoints popping up, missing one costs 100 gold.<br /> With gold you can buy missiles, and either restore or upgrade your shields. <br />(the upgrade becomes available once you possess enough gold)
